What we have learned about economic system

Problem: Matthew 25:14-30 is a parable where the master has entrusted 3 of his servants with bags of gold, according to their abilities. He then went on a long journey. When he returned, each servant shared what they had done with their gold. After you read the passage for yourself, relate it to what we have learned about economic systems. Is one of them (market, state or community) better suited to encouraging us to use our God-given gifts? Or is it more up to the person than the system they are in? Explain your reasoning. Lastly in your job or daily tasks, reflect on how you are using your unique God-given skills. Give an example or discuss what you could do more of in the future. Be sure to address each of these questions in your original thread. Finally, also include in your reflections what you think of the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on different economic systems. Specifically, is there one economic system (market-centered, state-centered, or community-centered) that is better suited at handling such a crisis? For a market-centered system, how can we call on the strengths of the state and community to best help fight the pandemic?
