What was the sensory information that your mind used

Problem

In the Active Learning Exercises we discussed how our sense of touch sometimes provides us with an inference about the world around us, like our pencil hitting the wall. For this reflection, try to notice your sense of touch during the day, and what facts about the world it is telling you. Find one other situation where you 'felt' something happening in the world outside of your body. It could be while walking, doing something active, driving, just sitting in your room, or other situations. Then answer the following questions:

i. What was the event in the world that you felt? Describe it in a sentence or two. Remember it needs to be something happening outside your body, like the pencil hitting the wall (though you need to come up with your own example).

ii. What was the sensory information that your mind used for this perception? Describe this in a couple more sentences. It should include touch information (e.g. vibration, pressure, heat, etc.) but could also include other senses (e.g. what you heard or saw).
