The Seminar will focus on crime and the criminal justice system. Please make every effort to complete the readings beforehand.
To prepare for this unit's Seminar on crime and drug use/abuse, please review your local newspapers, TV news stations, or other local media, and come to Seminar prepared to discuss the following:
• What types of crime take place in your community?
• Who are the criminals you read about or see on your news stations?
• How are they similar to or different from those discussed?
