As the classroom teacher (in Arizona), what ELP standards could you incorporate into your content lesson plans (subject is English) in order to differentiate your instruction and make accommodations for the pre-emergent/emergent level student? What types of activities can the family expect that the student will be required to do? What will your approach be? How does having this student in the pre-emergent/emergent level affect how you would approach reading, writing, and comprehension for this student in your classroom?
