1) What type of evidence can be extracted from a mobile device? A mobile device as we know now a day can quite literally do anything we want it to, especially with the new artificial intelligence we have a robot in the palm of our hands to help us with any task we may come upon. Firstly, I would think about the purpose of a cell phone is to make communication with other cell phone devices, so things such as messages, and phone call history can be pulled from the device. Second, the picture can also be looked at depending if the phone is equipped with a camera, if not there are also downloaded, files can be looked at as well. Lastly, the internet access history can also be looked at to see maybe intentions of the victim or suspect in different cases.

2) Detail how a digital crime scene should be processed.

Digital forensics is defined as a forensic science branch that deals with the recovery, investigation, and preservation of digital evidence while upholding legal standards. This article explains digital forensics in detail.

First, investigators find evidence on electronic devices and save the data to a safe drive. Then, they analyze and document the information. Once it's ready, they give the digital evidence to police to help solve a crime or present it in court to help convict a criminal.

3) Forensic tools can often recover deleted data from mobile devices. This can include deleted messages, files, and other digital artifacts that might be relevant to an investigation (Tian et al., 2019). Mobile devices leave artifacts such as system logs, cached data, and temporary files (Tian et al., 2019). These artifacts can provide insights into the device's usage history and interactions with different applications. Metadata associated with files, such as creation dates, modification dates, and geolocation information, can corroborate or refute claims made by individuals involved in a case (Tian et al., 2019).
