What the problem or issue the deaf client is experiencing

Problem

I was asked my operationalized definition of these terms? E.g. How do you define them and what is an example of what you might see as a measure of this concept?

i. Operationalized definition of social justice:
ii. Operationalized definition of economic justice:
iii. Operationalize definition of environmental justice:
iv. Operationalized definition of human rights:

I was asked to write down a few notes about one of the issues articulated by Bowman where a clinical social worker could engage in policy practice. The article by Miriam Bowman (2018) focused on deaf children in the child welfare system. In the article, Bowman articulates several areas where clinical practice interfaces with programs and policies - and where clinical practice can inform policy practice (policy advocacy, development, implementation, and evaluation). Include this information:

i. Describe the practice setting

ii. Describe what the problem or issue the deaf client or community is experiencing

iii. State what type of information, data or evidence the social worker might have that suggest that the problem or issue is not just something happening to one deaf child but to many (policies respond to group issues or trends, not singular situations usually)

iv. Indicate what a solution to the problem might be (this can be very general)

v. State who the social worker might inform about this common problem with deaf children that would start to move this issue outside of just the social worker's office or organization and onto a policy practice pathway.
