Problem: A 45-year-old female, accompanied by her daughter to the clinic, presents with agitation, confusion, fever, tachycardia, and diaphoresis. The daughter states these symptoms were preceded by nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. There is no history of cardiac disease, diabetes, or substance abuse.
