During your next interaction with an employee at a McDonaldized setting (restaurant, bank, store), try to treat them more like an individual person and less like someone simply filling a position. Be genuine and attentive to them as a human being rather than simply as an employee. Discuss what exactly you did and what the experience was like for you. How did that person react to your behavior? Be specific.
