Problem 1: Organizations seem to push for team activities as a way to build community among their employees. As the HR compensation specialist, what steps would you take to ensure you do not fall into the common problems associated with team compensation?
Problem 2: As the HR director, you have been tasked with setting up some incentive plans to motivate employees. Which plan does you like the best? Which is the most successful? What suggestions would you make?
Problem 3: From 2007 - 2015 AMC had a television drama called "Mad Men". In one episode, the boss Don Draper tells the employee Peggy that her "thank you" comes from being paid. Peggy was upset because she expected her boss to be more appreciative of the work that she was doing (particularly because she bailed him out on more than one occasion) What do you think? Is the pay enough? As an employee do you need more than the pay? Do you need the "thank you"?
