From the movie a beautiful mind the main character is John Nash who is dealing with a mental illness Schizophrenia. There are a couple of questions according to the Person Environment Occupation Performance Model (PEOP) of Occupational therapy I need help answering? • Change and Motivation: According to the PEOP model how does change occur with regards to John Nash? Based upon the knowledge of the individual John Nash, what specific motivators could an occupational therapist use when working with John Nash?
• Evaluation Process: What were the obstacles that John Nash had to overcome in this movie and how did he accomplish them?Also, based on the PEOP model, what would be 2 specific questions an occupational therapist might wish to answer through the evaluation with John Nash? What is the focus of the evaluation process according to PEOP?
