You are the strength and conditioning coach at a high school. One of your athletes has a training goal of improving his sprint ability in relatively short sprints of 3 to 5 seconds, however, he has been performing a high volume of aerobic training in an attempt to do so. He has been performing aerobic training for several months, but he has noticed little change in his short sprint ability. What sort of advice would you give this athlete so he can improve his sprinting ability?
