Problem
a) "The outlier, in the end, is not an outlier at all" (285). The book started with a dictionary definition of "outlier," but that definition is almost meaningless now. Gladwell's definition of "outlier" and his argument have changed considerably over the course of the book.
So, on the last page of the book, we get the quote above. What is Gladwell's understanding of what an "outlier" is by his conclusion? What is he arguing?
b) What's something you either strongly agree with or disagreed with from the book? There is probably a lot to agree with, but it's also interesting to see people argue with Gladwell. He definitely makes some dubious and under-supported arguments, so feel free to criticize him if you want, as long as you can back it up.
