Problem
a) Describe one of the strategies the police used to try to identify homosexuals in the 1960s and 1970s that is discussed in Stand Together. To what extent was this strategy effective? What made it effective or ineffective?
b) Pay attention to the names of the LGBT rights organizations mentioned in Stand Together (you'll see them on screen and hear them as well). What do you notice about how the names of the organizations change over time? Be specific. What social changes do these name changes reflect?
