Introduction
The purpose of unit discussion is to have an open dialogue that helps to expand your understanding of the course material as well as demonstrate your critical thinking abilities. While less formal than unit assignments, your posts should be supported with scholarly research. Participation throughout the assigned unit is encouraged so that you can participate in the give and take of a natural dialogue.2
Unit Learning Outcomes
a) Describe the characteristics of an effective trainer, environment, and delivery.
b) Explain transfer of training and identify the major barrier that exists.
c) Evaluate relevant scholarly research and synthesize research to complete required assignments.
Directions
Conduct scholarly research to provide a detailed response to one of the questions listed below. Review rubric for expectations.
When considering transfer of training, who (trainer, manager, employee, etc.) is responsible for it? What role do these individuals play in success? Analyze how technology might be used to facilitate the transfer of training.
The response must include a reference list. One-inch margins, double-space, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
