Map Exercise
Look carefully at Map 6.2, "Afro-Eurasian Trade, c. 150 CE." What does it tell us about the routes by which Afro-Eurasia was becoming increasingly connected in the 2nd and 1st centuries BCE? What role did Empires play in weaving together east and west, north and south? Does this map suggest a relationship between the development of trade routes and the spread of culture, and in particular the religions of the Axial Age?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
