Homework: Competitive Marketing Strategies: Analyzing Your Organization
Choose an existing product or service (not the same as your Course Project or Video Analysis), and write a one-page summary that answers the following four questions.
o Does the product or service have a competitive advantage (cost, differentiation, etc.)? If not, what is your recommendation for it to attain a competitive advantage?
o Is the competitive advantage sustainable because of relevance or defensibility? If you answered no to question one, how would your recommendation lead to a sustainable competitive advantage?
o What barriers does the competition face to entering the same market or gaining a competitive advantage?
o What is the value provided to customers, and is that value a sustainable competitive advantage? Why or why not?
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
