Problem
Consider this dilemma: Assume you are conducting an investigation of a suicide by gunshot. The decedent left a suicide note clearly in his handwriting. There are no signs of foul play. The decedent was lying in his bed, the gun was in his lap and near his left hand, and a contact (stellate) wound is observed on his left temple. The police and the family have only one concern with your determination of suicide; the decedent is right-handed. What is your response? What rationale would you deduce from this?
