I agree with you that health is an important factor for sense of well-being. Do you think there is even more to it than that? A person who is both financially and physically in shape may be lonely. Take the recent passing of a famous musician for an example. He had a family, money, fame, close friends; seemingly he had everything a person could want in life, yet he decided to end his life.
What psychological factors do you think contribute to subjective well-being when all of the pieces seemingly are in place but one does not have a sense of well-being?
Did he lose that sense of subjective well-being? (Gargiulo & Stokes, 2009)?
What should be considered in discovering such feelings of depression and self-harm when a person has everything needed to provide SWB and a good life for himself or herself?
