Journal Problem
Learning is enhanced when you take time to reflect on the process. You will have a journal that asks you to discuss your thoughts in relation to the topic for the unit. Your reflection and writing will help with your understanding of the content covered.
Your response to this journal should be clear, concise, and organized. The expression of information must be well written and original, with few or no errors in format and mechanics.
Each state can have different laws and regulations regarding confidentiality and minors. Research your state's laws on providing mental health services to minors.
Respond to the following questions:
1) Discuss the confidentiality guidelines of your state for providing services to minors.
2) What do you feel would be some potential ethical issues when working with minors?
3) What preventative steps would you take to manage your risk when working with minors?
4) What legal issues could occur as a result of not being knowledgeable/prepared to work with minors?
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
