Problem:

Create a resource that you would use for the student outlined in your target grade-level IEP. The resource should be something you can use in your future classroom. Ideas for creation include a visual, classroom design, a specific teaching and learning strategy, an anchor chart, a graphic organizer, etc. Use your knowledge and expertise alongside your creativity in support of your student with a communication disorder. Then give a brief explanation for your resource: Discuss your rationale for creating the resource you share. Outline direct connections to the needs of the student IEP you selected in Part 2 of the discussion in this module. How will what you create benefit your student based on the needs outlined in their IEP? Can this resource be used at both school and home? What prior knowledge is needed by teachers, related service professionals, the student and/or the family to effectively use this resource as a system of support? Discuss how this resource will support you in serving students with communication disorders?
