The best way to improve your writing is to practice. What opportunities are there for health professionals to practice writing? What obstacles might exist that would prevent health professionals from practicing and thus learning to write effectively?
Part II:
In recent weeks, we have talked about the writing process and, specifically this week, strategies used in writing patient or consumer-centered messages. Make up an example of professional writing you might be asked to do (or use an example from your past). In an initial post describe your example including the audience and circumstance. Explain the strategy and tone you would use for such a communication.
Compare your example with your classmates and discuss why the strategies and tone fit the different examples.
