This week, we learn that change is difficult and, more often than not, inevitable. Consider an organization in which you are currently embedded, or think of one with which you have past experience. Describe the largest organizational change you have experienced in that environment. What was the impetus for that change? What obstacles do you feel were in place that made change difficult? Did change management do a good job of removing or minimizing those obstacles? What impacts did the change have at the organizational, team, and individual levels? What were the short-term and (if applicable) long-term outcomes of the change program?
