Analyze the significance of the women's protest movement in Liberia led Leymah Gbowee with regard to the Liberian civil war at the time. Your analysis should go beyond mere description of what they did but focus on the importance of its impact. You should address these questions (and others you deem important):
1. Were the tactics used by the women effective? What did they accomplish; how, why?
2. What was the significance of involving both Christian and Moslem women?
3. What motivated Gbowee and the other women?
4. What were the weaknesses of the movement?
