What method of ethical oversight such as a code of ethics

1-As one of your state's representatives to Congress, which side of the regulation debate would get your vote regarding new human service regulations? How will your choice benefit your constituents?

2-What method of ethical oversight (such as a code of ethics, an ethics advisory board, oversight by the board of directors, or an ethics audit) would you suggest for Acre Woods Retirement Community as described in the case study

Appendix D: the case study for Acre Woods Retirement Community would benefit from a combination of an ethics advisory board and an ethics audit. An ethics audit would provide insight into the history of the organizations ethical practices and the creation of an advisory board gets more people involved in making sure the organization is run in an ethical way. What both of these methods have in common is that they demand accountability. However, I am not sure how realistic my expectation of an ethics advisory board is in this type of organization as I never witnessed it in the years I spent working in elder care. I would say that a lack of proper training did play a part in this scenario. There were definite health and safety code violations. The managers and supervisors would have to step up and take action to rectify the situation. The health and safety of the residents and their guests have been put in jeopardy.
