SECTION A: WHERE ARE YOU NOW?
Start by reading Discovering Your Authentic Leadership, Bill George, Harvard Business Review. Reflect on and answer the following questions.
o Which people and experiences have had the greatest impact on you?
o What are your most deeply held values? Where did they come from?
o What inspires and motivates you extrinsically and intrinsically?
o What makes you happy and what brings meaning to your life?
o What constitutes professional happiness for you?
o What are your strongest skills and qualities? What are your unique talents?
SECTION B: WHERE DO YOU WANT TO BE?
Imagine the future...
o First, design your perfect day. This is not a vacation day, but a normal workday during the peak of your career. Where will you be, who will you be with, what will you be doing, and on what stage are you playing out your life?
o Imagine a 1/2 to 1 page magazine column about yourself published 20 years in the future. What magazine is it and what does the column highlight? Now write the column and, if possible, work in a glimpse of your perfect workday.
SECTION C: WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO TO GET THERE?
o Who will be on your personal advisory board? Who are your role models?
o What knowledge, skills, and qualities would you like to learn and develop?
Format your assignment according to the give formatting requirements:
