Using the internet, search for trends in one of these macro forces. Focus on trends that are relevant to your company's industry. "Your company" can be the company for which you're currently working, one you've worked for in the past, or one you'd like to work for in the future.
Answer the following questions:
o What macro force and industry are you focusing on?
o What trend(s) did you discover? Share where you found the information and what you find most interesting about the trend.
o How might your company take advantage of this trend?

While it's important to monitor these forces, for the purposes of this discussion, assume you can only select one to monitor for the next two quarters-the one you think will have the biggest impact on your business in the near term.

o How would you go about monitoring this force (i.e., what information sources would you use) and tracking the insights that you collect as part of your environmental-scanning process?
