Problem
CC purchased a state of the art heating system from Heating Experts Ltd (HE), a company based in Finland, for £100,000. CC learnt of HE's heating system whilst at a trade show in London. The day after the trade show, CC called HE and HE put CC into contact with their London based agent.
i. Whether the English Court is likely to accept jurisdiction over the matter using the English Common Law;
ii. What law is likely to apply under Rome I; and
iii. A brief summary of advice on why including an arbitration clause in their future contracts may be beneficial to CC.
