Problem
Confidentiality of data. Researchers are expected to protect the confidentiality participants by removing or simply not collecting participants' names or other identifying information. In the classroom, however, the teacher knows the studer name and most likely shares information about particular student behavior with teachers in the school both formally and informally. Teachers also typically sha information with parents. Think about it!
1. In your view, does a teacher have an obligation to keep classroom data confidential if collected as part of an action research project?
