Problem: Over the various texts read for this class, the creation of human beings has been pervasive. In The Book of Genesis and Paradise Lost, of course, God is the creator. In Frankenstein, though, a human individual, Victor Frankenstein, reanimates an individual comprised of various dead body parts of other people. In a way, the creation of the creature is the antithesis of God's creation. In a brief essay, compare and contrast the creation of the creature with one of the other God-created Adams from either Genesis or Paradise Lost. What kind of commentary do these two very different creation stories make in response to one another? What kind of commentary do they make about the nature of man and God?
