What is your understanding of the intersection of food and agriculture with race (or other minoritized identities)? What experiences have brought you to your own understanding of these connections and how does this experience and understanding show up in the work that you do? (MINORITIZED IDENTITIES: A social group that is devalued in society and given less access to its resources. Traditionally, a group in this position has been referred to as the minority group. However, this language has been replaced with the term minoritized in order to capture the active dynamics that are historically exclusionary and harmful. In addition, the "majority" group centers folks who are straight, white, able-bodied, cisgendered, and male.)
