What is your response to the statement

Problem:

Please read below, what is your response to this statement Although I was born in the United States, my first language was not English. When I was 2 years old my mother took me to live in Mexico, for this reason my first language was Spanish and I never thought that in the future I would learn English, although my English is not perfect, I can communicate with people and have a conversation but sometimes it is difficult to understand my pronunciation. Some people say that Spanish is difficult but other people like me say that English is difficult, and I say this because there are words that sometimes are not pronounced the way they are written in English. Spanish being my first language, sometimes I think that the words are said the same or similar, an example is Disrespectful, in Spanish they say "Irrespetuoso" and in English "disrespectful" well one day I was having a conversation with someone who only speaks English and I said, Someone was "irrespectful" to me, and he told me what? What does that mean, I didn't know how to explain it but then he understood me and he told me it's "disrespectful." I work in an migrant center, for this reason the majority of children only speak Spanish, but there are some who only speak English. My goal is for all children to be bilingual, or if they want to learn more than two languages it would be great, but I am focusing on English and Spanish because their relatives only speak Spanish, but to communicate, for example at school, they need English. To help them learn, I ask them in English and I ask the same question in Spanish. Books, songs and cards are also important for them to learn the words in both languages.
