Problem
Many people complain about the insertion of politics into sport, arguing that the two do not mix and that, "politics ruins the purity and beauty of sports." Others argue that politics and sport are intricately linked, "always have been, always will be, and I wouldn't want it any other way." Still others find themselves disagreeing with both, either staking out territory somewhere in the middle of those two positions, or presenting an entirely different argument.
