Finding current and magnetic induction induced in the electrical circuits.
The picture shows two long, parallel wires. The upper wire carries a current of 3.0 A to the right. and the lower wire carries a current of 1.0 A to the left.
a) What is the value of the integral ∮B - ds when the integral is taken along path A in the diagram? (μo= 8.85⨉10-12 F/m)
b) What is the magnitude of ∮B - ds when the integral is taken along path B in the diagram? (μo= 8.85⨉10-12 F/m)
c) A rectangular loop of wire is placed midway between two long straight parallel conductors, as shown. The conductors carry currents i1 = 10 A and i2 = 20 A in a direction as indicated. If i1 is increasing at 1 A/sec. Compute the magnitude and direction (clockwise or counter clockwise) of the current which is induced in the loop.
