In the recruitment and selection of HR professionals, what is the value of HR certification (PHR, SPHR, and GPHR) to employers and to HR professionals? Should certification as a BFOQ be included in the job descriptions of HR generalists and HR directors? If so, what level of certification should be required for each position?
