Assignment
Length: 1000 words.
After reading the source, write an analytical essay in which you summarize the main points of the article (this should take about 2/3 of your essay) and then analyze/critique the source (about 1/3 of your essay).
Try to answer at least some of the following questions in your essay (don't have to include all questions below)
o Who is the author of your chosen source?
o What is the time period of the source and what is the topic?
o What might this article tell a researcher about the time period? What is he/she trying to say?
o What is his/her point of view?
o Does he/she make a convincing case? Why or why not?
o What does the author leave out (if anything)?
o Does the author exhibit a particular bias?
o Is there anything in this source that might be relevant to the world today?
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
