Examining Peer-Reviewed Articles
Resources:
-Welch's 2014 article, "Exploring the Impact of Communication Technologies on Business Air Travel," from Journal of Organizational Culture, Communications, & Conflict, volume 18, issue 1, pages 187-213.
As we look at each factor of this week's assignment, we are going to discuss some of the elements included. We open this discussion with the following:
-What is the researcher's justification for reviewing the peer-reviewed article?
-How is the source an example of applied business research?
-How did the author defend the use of a particular research method and design?
-What was the rationale for the author's academic foundation?
Response Guidelines
Respond to at least two learners. Your responses should be substantive and do at least one of the following:
-Ask a probing question.
-Offer a suggestion.
-Elaborate on a particular point.
-Provide an alternative opinion.
In your responses, reference the assigned readings and other theoretical, empirical, or professional literature as needed to support your views and writing.

To achieve a successful experience and outcome, you are expected to meet the following requirements:
Written Communication: Written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall message, follows standard American English usage, and uses language appropriate for the intended business and scholarly doctoral audiences.
Formatting: Paper, references, and citations are formatted according to current APA style and formatting guidelines.
Length: 500 words, double-spaced.
Font and Font Size: Times New Roman, 12-point.
Paragraph 1: Introduction with thesis statement of the main topic. Identify and introduce three supporting points (no citation).
Paragraph 2: Discussion of supporting point 1 (support with 2 or 3 peer-reviewed citations).
Paragraph 3: Discussion of supporting point 2 (support with 2 or 3 peer-reviewed citations).
Paragraph 4: Discussion of supporting point 3 (support with 2 or 3 peer-reviewed citations).
Paragraph 5: Summary of the supporting points and include a concluding statement of the main topic. This final paragraph should not include new information (no citation).
Include a reference list in APA format.
Designate each sentence in each of the paragraphs with an MEAL Plan with an M = Main topic; E = Evidence; A = Analysis; L = Linkage
