Discussion Overview
Being able to find, create, manage, and deploy power are important skills that leaders need to master in the business world. Many things affect the power that leaders have at their disposals. During this week's discussion, we will explore the relationship between dependence and power.
Your post should consider the following questions:
0 What are the bases of power?
0 Which bases of power do you think you have at work?
0 What is the relationship between power and dependence?
0 If you do not have all of the bases of power (or low amounts of a particular power), which bases of power do you think you should acquire?
o If you do have all of the bases of power at work, how did you get all of the bases of power?
