Finding the probability for the given set of information
Presume a rare disease infects one out of every1000 people in a population. Assume there is a good, but not perfect test for this disease: if a person has the disease, test come back positives 99 percent of the time. Though, the test also produces some false positives: 2 percent of uninfected people also test positive. What is the probability of you having the disease?
