Interview Assignment
You have the opportunity this week and next to interview someone in the position of responsibility over other people-a boss, supervisor, manager, or leader in the community. You have Monday through Thursday to schedule an appointment with someone in the position of responsibility as stated above. Remember your initial discussion post is due every Thursday. You may choose your interview method convenient to you, such as face-to-face interview, telephone, video, or via other technologies.
The focus of the interview this week is the following:
• Identify which theories (from this week's readings) the selected manager/leader uses.
• Does the leader/manager adjust his/her leadership style based on project assignment, individual skills, personalities, or circumstances?
• What is the predominant leadership or management style of the leader/manager? Why does the individual deem that to be predominant?
• Does the leader/manager support stakeholder relationships? What evidence is there that this person values and supports stakeholder relationships?
• What evidence is there in support of culture development focused on creativity and innovation?
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
