In the first part of the class, we have discussed extensively about supply and demand model. It is observed that Wal-Mart is very much contested around the country when they have to open a new store in a state or some specific community.
Using the supply and demand model you have learned in this course to explain the effect of Wall Mart on demand and supply for their products and services and the demand and supply for workers.
What is the net effect of the large companies (Wal-Mart, Kmart, etc.) in a small community? We understand that any decision can have a positive and a negative impact. However, in this paper you must demonstrate which one of the two effects may outweigh the other. Does the positive impact the community more or vice versa?
