After viewing both sources, address these questions:
(1) What is the "message" of The White Helmets? What is a viewer supposed to leave the film thinking about?
(2) Why would Russia Today seek to delegitimize the work of the "White Helmets?"
Note: this is not an easy task. I am NOT expecting expert-level knowledge of the terribly complex Syrian Civil War. I want you to articulate the arguments forwarded by both sources.
I want you to identify clearly any bias evident. I want you to consider what it is like to be embroiled in the middle of a catastrophic civil war that has devastated the country of Syria and continued to destabilize the entire Middle East.
