• What is the liquidity value of the firm's assets? Are these assets available for liquidation (are there any claims against them)? In many cases, asset sales are a critical part of the strategy for a leveraged buyout.
• How good is the total management team? Is the management team committed to and capable of operating in the high-risk environment of this firm?
• What is the firm's financial leverage on an absolute basis and on a market-adjusted basis (using market value of equity and debt)?
