Assignment task: Nigeria Land
Reflect on your time spent in relationship with the land. Use the following questions to help you tell the story of your relationship with the land:
1. What is the land you have chosen to reflect on? Where is it? How did you find it?
2. Describe the land and its features. Share what you appreciate, enjoy, or love about this land.
3. What is significant about the time you have spent on the land? Why does this land stand out to you? Why is it important to you?
4. How does it make you feel when you are spending time on this land?
5. Do you have any rituals or routines that you engage in when you're on the land? (i.e., do you greet the land? Sit & mediate on the land?)
6. How does spending time on this land create space for you to connect with yourself?
7. What thoughts surface for you when you are spending time on this land?
8. What has the land taught you in the time that you have spent in relationship with it?
