Problem
Pick a text that you think might have a broader "critical" meaning. In other words, pick a text that has broader cultural or ideological connotations, that speaks to or aims to appeal to particular formations of popular experience of common sense, that suggests a broader insight about the world if read "critically." What is the insight, narrative, argument, or analysis available here in critical terms? Describe. Reflect. Explain. (And note: "text" here could be broadly interpreted. It could be a work of literature or prose, lyrics from a song, an advertisement or slogan, or any other artifact that produces a field of meaning through writing-though many of these strategies could be used for things like music, film, and other non-written genres as well!)
