There is a definite need for knowledge workers well versed in data analytics skills. Data analytic skills include knowledge of how to aggregate data including collect the right data, context, and cleaning of the data as well as the underlying statistical basics of type of data (nominal, ordinal, interval, ratio and categorical/continuous) to best visually display the data and statistical significance.
