Assignment: Article Reflection- Reflection - Balancing Your Life
The following articles are in your course packin the E-Book, "10 Must Reads on Managing Yourself". I believe these are useful to you. I have created an optional bonus assignment to encourage you to read at least one of them.

ii. Managing Oneself
iii. How Resilience Works
iv. Overloaded Circuits: Why Smart People Underperform
All four of these articles focus on ‘soft' issues that go well beyond the work place - happiness with my chosen field or career; making my personal relationships as valuable as my work; ensuring that my work aligns with my authentic strengths and core values; finding meaning; taking care of myself and promoting positive emotions.
Textbook: 10 Must Reads On Managing Yourself.
Read at least one of these articles and write a reflection - respond to each of the following questions. Use the question (or a synopsis of the question) as your paragraph headings:
i. Which article(s) did you select and why?
ii. Based on your personal experience and the observation of others, what is the impact for people who don't heed the advice given in our readings? Discuss this in terms of impact to themselves, their direct reports, their children, spouses, etc.
iii. If you could go back and give your 18-year old self some advice based on your experiences so far, what would it be?
iv. Can you give an example of someone you know who is a good role model for a healthy life and a successful career? If yes, what can you learn from him/her?
v. What can you do immediately to incorporate the ideas you came across in these readings?
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
