Case Study: What a Star, What a Jerk
Read the case study thoroughly. You may "mark-up" the case study itself. If you do, send this back along with your written response. Send the document in Microsoft Word format (not PDF). 4 page double space.
Once you have read the case, you are to articulate a position and defend that position by citing readings from the class as well as other sources (optional).
In framing your response, consider the following questions:
i. What is the extent of the decision Jane is facing?
ii. Describe the work culture at TechniCo.
a. How is it different from Jane's prior place of employment?
b. Should that be a factor in her decision? If so, how?
iii. By what criteria is Jane's performance being measured?
iv. What should Jane do? Why? What are the consequences of this decision and how will they be dealt with?
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
