What is the basis of the modern royal families, and how did they come to exist? I have a feeling the answer is that they were religious figures in the old times, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure everybody was Catholic, and priests can't have kids. So maybe that's wrong?? Where do the modern royal families come from??
