Follow the instructions below for this assignment. As always. submit a 300.400 word reflection paper (about one page single spaced) that responds to the prompts. I am looking for brief but in-depth reflections written in an academic (and not casual) style. For all of these prompts, use appropriate in-text citations to support your reflections.
1. Define the following terms: 1) economic migrant, 2) climate refugee/environmental migrant, and 3) political refugee.
2. What is 'right of asylum: and of the three categories above. who should have the right of asylum in your opinion?
3. Describe a current situation somewhere in the world where the distinction between these three categories is blurred. In other words, think of a situation where a single person could be seen simultaneously as an economic migrant, climate refugee, and political refugee. (There are many places in the world where poverty, poor environmental conditions, and political violence exist just pick one and describe it.)
4. People are categorized according to just one status, even though their reasons for fleeing a country may be more complex. Which category is more advantageous for the impacted person? Which status grants them more rights? Which status grants them the least rights?
5. When it is no longer possible to live in a country due to environmental reasons (think extreme drought. extreme flooding. sea level rise. etc.). where should impacted pcopc be allowed to go to find safety?
