One of the major topics in your primary source readings is gender, the family, and society. In societies that we have studied were men and women equal? What is patriarchy and what causes inequality? What about modern understandings of gender roles and gender norms? Do you think men and women will ever be equal? Respond to some of these questions in your post, and give specific examples, either from class or current society.
